Chefchaouen is one of the most photographed towns in Morocco: its lanes, doorways and steps are painted in shades of blue. It is calm, walkable and easy to enjoy at a slow pace.
The day leaves you plenty of time to explore the medina, walk up to the Spanish Mosque for views over the town and try local goat cheese.
